Sadly, on 12 June 1999, William (better known as Billy) was riding in the backseat of a 1992 Monte Carlo when the car slid of the road and met two trees. Billy died almost instantly at the scene, another boy, later on in the hospital. The driver had a concussion, and the girl, Anna is in horrible condition - or was last I heard. :*( The next day Billy would've been practicing with his band for a gig where the money would be donated to charity, as always, shortly following.

How I Remember Him

I am quite sure that I knew Billy before 5th grade, but my memory only contains those of there and after. Parkway, that was the name of the school, and hehe, Mr. Roberts was our teacher. Billy sat.. to the left of me I think, not too sure. He was sometimes quiet, funny, and even a bit fiesty at times, but for what I remember him for is... well.. kinda nasty, and he'd probably hurt me [ =) ] if he knew what I was to type next.. but I remember him always chewing on stuff like paper and what-not.. sometimes even.. errm, well... lets just say "digging for treasures - really digging!."

Overall, Billy was one of the nicest, and coolest guys I have ever met in my life. We'd hang out in the woods (c'mon kids, no ideas!) or just walk around in our development with whoever was bored as well. I don't think anyone will forget him, it's pretty hard, just something about him... he captivated people (more so in his 'older stage'). He was one good friend....
Never to be extinguished from my mind, nor heart.
